I’m a traveling ICU nurse with more ‘travel’ and less ‘nurse,’ i.e., the work portion of the term. I grew up in Alaska, finished college (twice), and landed in Salt Lake City right after nursing school. After working in Salt Lake for a few years, I decided more freedom was in order, and signed my first travel nursing contract in September, 2014. These days, I’m loosely based in Salt Lake, and have worked in places like Eugene and Portland, Oregon, Santa Barbara and Oxnard, California, and Seattle, Washington. My favorite things include: paragliding, mountain biking, Instagram-ing, cooking all things vegetable, and loving on the Indy dog, my ever-faithful sidekick. I’ve recently started competing in paragliding competitions, which I’m having lots of fun with! Oh, and check out my Instagram @remember2fly for more travel photos, and of course, more dog pictures!
